Wim Sadmojo is a French-born independent media maker from Indonesia, based in Jakarta. Often working with film-related projects. Recently made his first short film outside of school which currently is in film festivals submission, involved in a feature-length film as an AD in 2022, and recently as a video editor and PA on indie projects.

Previously, he edited video essays for a YouTube channel (ScreenCrush), zoom interviews (Hunter College), and assembly editor for vlogs & educational episodes. In addition to working on sets such as a sound recordist, assistant camera, and into assistant director to widen his perspective on learning what different departments entail that are mostly related to narrative storytelling projects such as short & feature films.

He is a Cum Laude graduate from Hunter College, New York City with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film, and an Associate’s Degree in Communication Studies from BMCC.

Being able to be in different positions within the filmmaking field and experiencing other forms of art/ media is an integral part of his learning curves as he continues to explore what the film world entails while still maintaining his hobby, video editing.
